Brevard Jewish Community School is housed in Temple Beth Sholom and shares a unique history and relationship with this wonderful community. Started nine years ago under the directorship of Judy Spellman, this small preschool sought to offer excellence in secular education as well as in Jewish education. Since that time this fledgling school has grown into an accredited institution that honors its original commitment - excellence in secular and in Jewish education.

BJCS was the first private elementary school in Brevard County to gain acceptance and receive accreditation through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Educators hold proper certification and focus on helping the individual student as well as on reaching group goals. Small classes with attention to detail helps students undertake risks and extend learning. BJCS admits students of all religious faiths, color, race, and ethnic or national origin.
