MEN'S CLUB

TempleBeth Sholom Men’s Club is actively planning activities for 2008 and we wish to include you.

 Our annual activities include the Fine Wines Under the Stars Wine Tasting Gala. This year will be our eleventh year and your help in working on the planning committee is very welcome. We have an annual Men’s Club sponsored baseball game outing to see major league spring training at the SpaceCoast Stadium. In conjunction with the TBS Sisterhood, we have a program of monthly movie nights at TBS. These are 100 percent free to all TBS members.

 Our Men’s Club Shabbat celebration was just that—a celebration. We participate in the World Wide Wrap each winter and teach our Sunday school students about the proper use of tefillin. We work as ushers at the High Holiday services. We prepare and distribute Purim baskets to all TBS members each year.

 Our monthly Sunday morning membership meetings usually have a cultural or educational presentation. When the new school building becomes available later this year, we plan to move our meeting location to TBS. This will make it much easier for those of you who bring your children to TBS for Sunday school to stay with us and join in our activities. There are still opportunities to participate at our monthly meetings as a speaker or simply as an attendee. Join us for a morning of bagels and lox. Each year we have a wives appreciation brunch where we say thank you to our wives.

 We have something for everyone. Your help—great or small—is invited. Step up and say yes for one small job, and you will see how much you will enjoy being part of our men’s club team.
