SISTERHOOD
The past month of April was a very busy one for Sisterhood. We very successfully prepared and provided a wonderful luncheon for Men’s Club Shabbat. We spent several days shopping and chopping, and just generally enjoying each other’s company. Many thanks to Barbara Marcus, for her able leadership as Hospitality Chairperson . Additional thanks to our committee members, Sunny Kincaid, Sara Denaberg, Debbie Hyman, Victoria Chadbourne and to Melanie Kaplan and Janet Licker for their able assistance following the luncheon.
On Sunday, we attended the Jewish Festival and successfully sold many of our Judaic wares to the community. Again, we were ably assisted by some of our wonderful members. Much thanks to Sheila Abrahams, gift shop committee chairperson, Barbara Marcus, and especially to Linda Margolis for her expertise and skill in this area. Without you wonderful people, we would not have been as successful. Special thanks to Ron Flax for packing and “schlepping” our merchandise, and for assisting with sales.
We are also extremely grateful to Diana Seminer for donating the exquisite baby quilt for our raffle. It was won by Haia Soya and gifted to the very expectant daughter in law of Pheby Weber. We hope you all enjoy it.
